This zoom gear slides around your zoom lens on to the zoom control. The zoom gear includes suitable O-rings for proper fitting of the gear over the lens zoom control. Consequently the zoom lens is not damaged or scratched and the lens retains its market value despite having been used underwater.

This zoom gear is adjusted by the knob on the camera housing. If you want to use manual focus instead of autofocus on these lenses, you should select a port extension (A18464 or A18465) with a built-in focus knob and focus gear.
